MANGO LEAVES TEA

Mango (Mangifera Indica) is medicinal tree native to India. The juicy mango fruits are available in summers. But leaves of this evergreen tree is available throughout the year and are useful in treating various ailments. Mango leaves has many medicinal properties like anti-inflammatory, anti-diabetic, antihyperglycemic, antiviral, antibacterial and anti-ulcer activities.




Ingredients 

10 Bright green mango leaves
800 ml Water
 honey as per taste

Method 

 wash the  mango green leaves thoroughly with plain water.
Crush leaves and add in boiling water.
Cook till volume reduces to half.
Remove from flame and filter.
Add honey and drink. Avoid honey, if you are diabetic.
You can also drink filtered decoction as tea after adding milk and sugar.

Useful in treating loss of voice or aphonia
Useful in treating Oral Thrush or mouth blisters (an infection of the mouth caused by the candida fungus or yeast)
Helpful in treatment of diarrhoea

You can drink this tea 2-3 times a day for one week.
